PyxelCast Origins:2015, January 17.
It all started one year ago, on the Minecraft Forums. When a strange being, by the name of Ultrabyte, was searching for a team of ultra-mega-super-spies to take down the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
Well...
Something along those lines...
Ultrabyte had seen groups on Youtube, such as the Yogscast and Game Grumps, and thought it would be a brilliant idea to create one of his own. He jumped onto the Minecraft Forums and made a post. In bold letters
"Looking for people to join my Youtube Lets play Group"
Somewhat lacking in zest, but nevertheless applications were filled out.
After entry upon entry, Ultra finally found someone who fit the bill. His name was Taryn. Ultra, with no real criteria for denying applications, In his gracious accepting words replied, and I quote, "OK your in"
Ultrabyte found himself in a Skype group call, where Taryn introduced him to ModpackMiningBros Henry. Henry was a small Youtube creator just like Ultra, who coincidentally just like Ultra, was trying to make a small Youtube group. The three of them recorded some gameplay together of Super Smash Mobs on Mineplex. About an hour or so later, Taryn had to leave the call. So Ultra and Henry decided to play Garry's Mod.
A problem arose, where Ultra wanted Henry to join his group, and Henry wanted Ultra to join his group. After countless hours of arguing like an old married couple, Henry joined Ultra and the Pyxelcast found its humble beginning.
But it didn't start as the PyxelCast, oh no. It was originally referred to as "Mini unnamed yogscast" and "Mini Yogscast". There were also name suggestions like, The Creeper Slayers and Pixel Players, but all suggested names were put to vote, and a decision was made. Just one day later, a new post was put on the forums with the name PyxelCast!
A name, members, and everything else
These were the ingredients chosen
To create your average Youtube group
But -
Ultrabyte accidentally added an extra ingredient to the concoction -
Chemical AWESOME
Thus, the PyxelCast was born
Using their ultra-super powers
TNT, Ultra, Four, Squat, Troy, Quark... and occasionally Taryn...
Have dedicated their lives to making videos
And content for all!
